The Recycling Marketing Cooperative for Tennessee, Inc. (RMCT) is a statewide non-profit recycling cooperative. RMCT began in 1993 with the mission to market East Tennessee's recyclables through community cooperation and education. Today, RMCT provides technical assistance to counties, cities, and private industries throughout Tennessee in developing or expanding solid waste programs as well as the recycling and marketing of existing materials. At RMCT we realize that each recycling program is unique and tailor our services to meet your needs. Here are some of the services that RMCT provides:
- Recycling Program development and technical assistance
- Full service recycling marketing which includes transporation and prompt payment
- Updated material specification and market prices
- Combine materials from small programs to maximize dollars received for materials
- Recycling education support
- Grant writing assistance
